Many creatives are exhausted and spinning their wheels not because they’re bad at business, but because they’re capping their potential by not trusting in what’s possible. Before I started my business, I grew up as a designer in big brand agencies where ideas were our currency.

Every brand started with an IDEA and the success/failure of the concept when presented to the client, investors and stakeholders came down to the quality, resonance and. commercial viablity of the idea.

These big agencies sold creativity for 100s, 1000s of Pounds. (or dollars)

The strength of your ideas and your ability to remain present and curious to the world around you are non negotiable to be creative leader. To be successful in business you need to harness your creative spirit as your creative superpower. And then you need the tenacity, confidence and skills to be able to turn that into commercially viable business assets.

Here, the strategy walks hand in hand with spirit. As someone who’s launched multiple offers and programmes over the years, and who made a 6 figure agency selling creativity…. based on observing how people move and what makes them tick, I’m speaking from first hand experience.

Someone asked me recently:

“I love the message behind GOLD, but I’m still starting out…I feel like I don’t have the luxury of this mindset.”

And I hear you! I was right there *for a very long time.* I used to think that s p a c e was something you earned… I’m not talking about being laid back, that’s not what I mean.

It’s in being the Creative Director of your life.🐚

Creativity isn’t something you schedule at your desk. It’s lived. It’s an open dialogue with the creative spirit that lives within – under the right conditions. Your best business ideas, your best concepts; respond to freedom, conversation, aliveness, response and the body.

Let it be known that my priority these days isn’t “resting.” I’m not a “slow business” girlypop. But it’s in trusting the space between… Trusting that the being is as potent as the doing. Teaching my body that it’s safe to be steady, instead of being addicted to overwhelm, like I said here.

Safe to trust that space away from my desk IS STILL.THE.ACTUAL.WORK.

So if you’re in a building phase right now, and you feel like it’s all hustle and grind – GIRL, I GET IT. I’m right there with you. BUT/AND it’s important to build for the long game and prioritise inner wealth to create outer wealth.

Your business is a way of being that fuels literally everything.
